Galliot from Psara 6: Planking the Hull

With the solid hull ready it’s time to plank the hull. This was done with cherry wood planks cut to a width of 3mm and a thickness of 1mm.

I used maple wood for the decks, painting the plank edges black to simulate the tarred rope used as sealant between the planks. I then added the wales made from walnut.
